Each piece carefully inspected and packaged. Burls tend to have minor cracks and holes and require flattening. Wet or finished pieces may be shown from same log to exhibit how the veneer changes color and warms in appearance. Results may vary. Pulled from bundle # 135. About pictures : Most pictures have been temporarily wet on the lower portion of the veneer to show what the grain may look like when finish is added. How to apply : Paper-backed and wood-backed veneers are generally applied with contact cement. Raw plain veneer is applied with white or yellow wood glue and must have pressure applied while drying.
